On the XP Home edition CD is a back-up and restore tool NTBACKUP, some extra fonts and the USMT command line components.There’s also the networking protocol NetBEUI that’s included for compatibility with older OSes. Both CD versions include the Citrix ICA client for connection to Citrix terminal servers, the program TTPS that enables you to check packet data on an IP network and The Distributed Management Task Force’s Common Information Model v2.5 for computer management.
On the XP Professional disc is a phone book administrator and the Windows NT 4.0 Internet Authentication Service. Also on the disks you’ll find a support\tools folder that includes a clutch of tools for supporting Windows XP. There’s a Windows installer file (Suptools.msi) to use to install these Support Tools on your PC.
